Needlepoint is a challenging and colourful type of needlework, and it’s fun and easy to learn.

Our needlepoint sampler kit includes:

  • 7.5” x 14” interlock mono canvas
  • size 22 tapestry needle
  • 9 colours Paternayan Persian Wool
  • instructions for 12 stitches (see photo below)

The roots of needlework go back thousands of years. It is difficult to pinpoint exactly when needlepoint began. Working with canvas as a background dates back to about the 16th century, but working with wool thread dated another couple of centuries before that.
