I have made quite the decision and Thimble and Thistle will come along with me. I will be moving to Scotland in early April. Huge decision, but so fabulous. I have so many ideas for where I am going to take the site and the products of Thimble and Thistle.

The whole premise behind Thimble and Thistle was kits and patterns inspired by historical pieces and what better way to do this than to move and be in the middle of the inspiration.

What does this mean for the website? Honestly, not much. The address will be different. The kits will be the same price, albeit in pounds sterling, but I will do the translations. I will also just be sending them from the UK rather than Canada.

I will let you all know when I will be out of business – should only be for a couple of weeks as I close down and move.

We create kits and patterns utilizing many different styles of the needlearts: embroidery, crewel, needlepoint, bargello, blackwork, hardanger and many others.
